Mac Dock Downloads

  • The Dock on the Mac desktop is a convenient place to access apps and features that you’re likely to use every day—for example, Launchpad and the Trash. The Dock can show up to three recently used apps that aren’t already in it and a folder for items you download from the internet.

The Rand McNally Dock is an essential part of your Rand McNally GPS device.* It provides you with free software upgrades and access to map updates. Through the Dock, you can also access the user guide for your device and send feedback to Rand McNally via 'Tell Rand.'

This download is licensed as freeware for the Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system/platform without restrictions. MAC DOCK is available to all software users as a free download for Windows.     *Tablet owners: Please note that Rand McNally tablets do not use the Dock software. Your tablet receives all updates via Wi-Fi. When you are connected to Wi-Fi and an update is available, you will receive a notification in the upper left corner of your screen.

    • Note for Mac users: Future releases of the macOS (starting with macOS Catalina) will only support 64-bit applications. If you are planning to upgrade your Mac to macOS Catalina or newer, please remove the old 32-bit version of the Rand McNally Dock application and download the 64-bit version.
