Virtualbox Linux 32 Bit

  1. VirtualBox is a fun way of playing around with various Linux distros or even trying out Linux for the very first time. The software was designed in such a way that any virtual machine you create will exist in a separate environment from your main OS.
  2. The 64-bit host can emulate 32-bit architecture based OS virtual image in VirtualBox, KVM, the two I have used. In fact, I have 32-bit Archlinux image spawned into a virtual machine guest on a 64-bit AMD phenom II x4 based Debian Jessie host. Kali is debian based.

For 64-bit Windows guests, ensure that the VM uses the Intel networking device because there is no 64-bit driver support for the AMD PCNet card. See Section 6.1, “Virtual Networking Hardware”. If you use the Create VM wizard of the VirtualBox Manager, Oracle VM VirtualBox automatically uses the correct settings for each selected 64-bit OS.
